
When Harsha first joined Diya Ghar’s Munnekolala centre – 1, his days were filled with tears. His elder siblings, who studied in a government school, often had holidays, while he had to attend preschool. He didn’t understand why he couldn’t stay home with them. With both his parents away at work and no one at home, Harsha just wanted to be with his family.
His sister, Haripriya had studied at Diya Ghar before him, but for Harsha, settling in was tough. He
struggled to express his feelings and would sometimes act out while crying.
But everything began to change when his teacher at Diya Ghar patiently helped him name his feelings
and guided him toward calm. Slowly, the tears faded and his smile took their place. (
