With the pandemic causing all schools to be shut down, we had to transform our in-school Montessori learning to a Community based model. This meant we had to start recording video lessons and enable each child with learning kits that included lap tables, mats to sit, stationery items, etc. In addition to the video lessons, we also create videos on parenting and how parents should facilitate the lesson for their child as well. For the first time, these parents are highly involved with their children’s educational activities. Additionally. we have identified and trained Community Champions who then teach our children within these communities under the guidance of our teachers. Our children and their parents now continue to learn and grow.
