When little Raisha Khatun first arrived at Diya Ghar’s Thubrahalli 2 centre in November 2023, she was
shy, withdrawn, and often sat alone in class. But with gentle encouragement, engaging Montessori
activities like the pink tower and EPL materials, and the warmth of her teachers and friends, Raisha
began to blossom.
With timely support, including medical care for an eye infection and continuous guidance for her
parents, Raisha has grown into a kind, respectful, and helpful child. Though still a little shy, she now
dreams big: she wants to become a police officer!
Raisha’s story is just one example of how Diya Ghar helps children step into their potential with
confidence and joy. We are proud to walk this journey with Raisha and hundreds of children like her.
